W. Anthony Jones, II was born in Savannah, Georgia and learned to love music through church services. He began practicing drums and writing songs as a child. The first job Jones received was at age ten playing drums at Saint Paul C.M.E Church in Savannah. Jones studied music diligently during his teenage years, teaching himself to play the keyboard, and organ. Drawn to a music career while a high school student, he continued playing with various churches and projects. Living Hope Community Church and Jesus First Christian Community Fellowship were the first churches where Jones started playing the piano in 2003.

James Smith was born Feb 11 1983 in Savannah Ga. Started playing piano and found a strong love for music. When 12 years old he was moved by the Grunge/Rock music of that time, particularly by the song "Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, after hearing that song all he wanted was to play a guitar. After a few years of teaching himself guitar James enrolled in Pladd Dot Music School and was instructed by the great Chris Mitchell in Statesboro Ga. where he learned to love all types of music. Later he started teaching at the school and met the members of and formed his first band Savannah Avenue. After moving back to Savannah James came into contact Willie Jones Keys player/Producer for One Sound. After joining the band it quickly became his primary music project, and has been performing and writing original music with One Sound for the past year.
